This equipment makes it possible to test water-heater tanks during ageing by making a controlled and repetitive overpressure.
A tank is placed in its housing. This tank is connected to the hydraulic circuit and then filled with water. A motor coupled to a connecting rod allows the tank to be pressurised via a pneumatic lung.
This system makes it possible to carry out pressure build-up cycles (16 bars max.) in order to test the ageing of a water heater tank over a lifespan representative of that expected (up to 30,000 cycles).
