Reel unwinders

The unwinder is used to unwind gaskets wound on cardboard reels, available in four versions depending on the customer's reel type (external dimensions 715x912x1165 mm).

It consists of an aluminium profile structure, two reel supports, an adjustable braking system and components for smooth rotation.

The structure rests on four fixed feet to ensure stability when unwinding.

Two fixing systems are available:

  • Radial clamping on the reel hub when the latter is < Ø50mm
  • A set of four adjustable arms to hold the coil in place.

The coils are rotated by bearings, ensuring smooth, optimum movement when the joint is pulled manually by the operator.

Braking is provided by a pressure blade operated via a butterfly screw, offering precise adjustment of braking torque.

Coils can be changed quickly, without tools, simply by loosening the star screw or releasing the adjustable arm system.
