The Encolog enables the precise application of a bead of glue to the end of the last sheet in a roll.
The machine offers two operating modes:
An LED strip indicates in real time whether a roll can be inserted.
In rear loading, a stop positions the LOG (paper roll) between two motorized rollers. In front loading, the operator places the log directly between these same rollers.
A blowing ramp ensures the sheet unrolls, which then presses against a suction ramp for optimal hold.
Using laser sensors, the presence of the sheet is precisely monitored before the adhesive bead is applied. Once the position is confirmed, a linear actuator moves the gluing head.
A measuring ruler integrated into the translation system allows the start and end of the adhesive bead to be precisely adjusted from the control panel.
At the end of the cycle, the roll is ejected toward the exit via a dynamic “catapult”-style movement.
