The ExtraLog enables the automated and secure removal of cores onto which rolls of paper are wound. The unit is fitted with a robust extraction gripper mounted on a mobile trolley.
A support table, featuring a height-adjustable top, allows the axis of the LOG to be perfectly aligned with the mechanical extractor. This ergonomic adjustment is carried out manually by the operator using a handwheel.
The unit must be connected to a 220V single-phase mains supply and a 5 bar compressed air supply.
The presence of the roll is also monitored, enabling the cycle to start automatically.
Changing series and adapting to a new format are carried out manually. The machine features a ‘Garage Mode’ which allows the carriage to be moved backwards, facilitating access to the three interchangeable product-specific components (the pin centring device, the three clamping jaws and the mask).
The operator can read the force required for extraction directly on the screen at the top. In the menu, they can also view the maximum and minimum forces for the various cycles.
Safety is ensured by a controlled protective cover, coupled with a front light curtain that instantly halts all movements in the event of intrusion.
